Bead Crimping Pliers

overview

At the last bead (A), pass the jewelry wire (B) through the crimp bead or tube (C), then through the clasp or jump ring (D), then back through the crimp (C), and optionally back through the end bead (A).

Note: When stringing beads, it is important that the bead crimp match the wire in use. Forming a large crimp with fine wire may result in a crimp that does not hold properly. Always test each bead crimp to assure that it is secure.

Step 1Step 1:
Secure the crimp in the crimping station (E) of the pliers. Best results are attained when the 2 wires are positioned on the alternate sides of the center dimple.

Step 2Step 2:
Create the final shape in the rounding station (F), to form a smooth, rounded crimp.
