Cutting Broach Sets

A broach is a 5-sided, tapered cutting tool, used by hand much as a reamer to enlarge and align a pair of holes that will subsequently be tapped. Another example of a typical application would be to align the holes in the knuckles of a hinge before the pin is installed. Two sets are available, one covering a wider range of sizes than the other, but each set comprising 12 pieces. Dimensions in the table refer to maximum hole diameters each tool can ream. Made in Germany.
