Getting to The Point (CD-ROM) A Guide to Stone Setting

Marquise, trillion and other special shape stones pose special problems for stone setters because of their pointed ends. This CD-ROM covers the range of different prong types used when setting these stones, including straight prongs, cast V-prongs, and die-struck V-prongs and how they must be adapted for use with pointed stone shapes. Several different stone and setting combinations are discussed through a series of videos with corresponding printable instruction sheets.

Each Bench View CD-ROM contains approximately 50 minutes of video in addition to numerous printable articles. Computer with Microsoft Windows 95 (or newer) and speakers required. Adobe Reader (free download at adobe.com) required to view printable articles. CD-ROMs will not play in DVD players.
