Nicem® Front-Loading Casting Machine

The Contenti Company is the sole distributor of Nicem Spin Casting Machines and Mold Rubbers in both the United States and Canada. Made in Italy, these machines are of exceptional quality.

The semi-automatic, single station spincasting machines from Nicem speeds production by automatically executing a number of tasks that must be performed manually on a top-loading machine. The mold to be cast is inserted into the machine through the front and placed upon the pressure plate. Directly above the mold is a vertically fixed cover plate permanently mounted in a roller bearing. By simply pressing a button, clamping pressure is applied to the mold, the enclosure assembly moves downward to seal off the casting chamber, and the turntable begins to spin. Unlike a top-loading machine, it is not necessary to lift a lid by hand, remove a cover plate by hand, and reinstall the cover plate and close the lid, once again by hand. The automation features of these machines not only save time, they substantially reduce operator fatigue.

Spin time is controlled by an electronic automatic reset timer with digital readout. Turntable speed is infinitely variable over a range of 100 to 1500 RPM through an electronic speed control. A digital tachometer displays actual speed, and a mechanical counter indicates the number of pours.

The Nicem Front-Loading Casting Machines are produced in two sizes: the C400 (for 9"' 12", and 15" dia. molds) and the C500 (for 12", 15", and 18" dia. molds). Made in Italy.
