Soft Solder Pastes

Pre-fluxed soft solder pastes are usually dispensed with hand or air powered syringes. Available in three melting temperatures and sold by the ounce in multiples of 5 ounces.

• 4300: Melting point 300° F. Alloy of tin, lead, and bismuth. Mainly used on smaller white metal pieces
• 60/40: Melting point 374° F. Used on larger white metal pieces
• 96/4: Melting point 430° F. An alloy of 96.5% tin and 3.5% silver. Suitable for all non-ferrous metals except aluminum. Strongest
