Soft Solder Pellets

Available in three varieties, each with a different melting point and composition.

  • Low Melt: Melting point: 300° F. Alloy of tin, lead, and cadmium. Mainly used on smaller white metal pieces.
  • 60/40: Melting point: 374° F. Strongest soft solder. Used on larger white metal pieces and brass.
  • Pure Tin: Melting point: 450° F. Used on brass pieces, especially when items are to be plated.
