   Plate Style Welding Goggles |
Plate style lens (2" x 41/2") provides a greater field of vision compared to normal goggles. Large frame fits over most prescription glasses and is made of soft green vinyl for a comfortable, non-gaping fit. Air circulation system provides effective cooling. A green #5 shade lens is included to protect eyes during melting of all metals except platinum. Optional shade lenses: green # 6 (for platinum soldering) and #9 (with a gold coating to protect against heat and infrared rays when casting platinum). Fixed front. Meets ANSI Z87.1 standard.
