Bend perfect C-style bracelets from a flat strip of metal every time. To shape a bracelet, place one end of the material under the die and press down on the handle. Continue to work the material through the Metal Former, shaping as you go, until you have attained the desired, convex "C" shape. The female portion of the die is fashioned from a soft metal alloy that withstands the pressure from the die punch while preventing damage to the bracelet surface. This soft metal can be re-shaped by applying heat. The GRS Metal Former is provided with 2 different punches and one adjustable die cavity. Bracelets can be formed using material from 1/4" to 1-1/4" wide. Used with soft metals such as copper, silver, pewter, and gold alloys ranging in thickness from .030" to .080."
