Consists of a steel mandrel and 7 nylon collets that convert your flexshaft and no. 30-style handpiece into a miniature lathe for machining wax tubing into rings. The collets range in diameter from 15mm to 20mm (19/32" to 13/16"). A nylon collet is mounted on the mandrel and then increases in diameter to secure the wax ring as the hex nut is tightened. The mandrel is then installed into a no. 30-style handpiece which in turn is placed in a bench vise with soft rubber jaws. Or you can use it with the same handpiece mounted in our Jiffy Jig. For lathe tools, you can use a graver, scriber, center punch, or just about any semi-sharp instrument. Furnished with wrench and fitted case fashioned from wood.
