Contenti Moldex ST Super Tear Strength

Moldex, introduced by The Contenti Company in 1982, is the first silicone rubber formulated for use as a heat and pressure-cured rubber for wax injection molds. We are now proud to introduce Moldex Super Tear, the first super high tear strength silicone rubber for wax injection molds. This new version of Moldex is prepared in the same way as our standard Moldex, but when vulcanized, it has much greater tear strength, elasticity, and elongation than any other silicone rubber. It won't rip or tear out when extracting even the most complex wax patterns. Add to this the superior finish and ease of preparation when using silicone rubber as against natural rubber. Moldex and Moldex Super Tear are sold by the pound in sheets measuring 15" x 15" x 1/4" thick, and each sheet weighs 3 lbs.
